Event Details
Friday 30 May 2025 – 9am-5pm & Saturday 31 May – 8am-1pm.
The Symposium will be held in new rooms at the Pan Pacific, Perth.
We are still finalising speakers and presentations. We will update our website with a draft program early next year. You can see current speakers here.
The dress code is smart casual. Air-conditioning can fluctuate so please ensure you have appropriate clothing with you.
You will be provided with:
- A Symposium Program
- A delegate bag with inserts from exhibitors
- A name tag with your name on it
- Note taking utilities
Please feel free to bring your own:
- Water bottle
- Fidget toy
- Headphones
- Sunglasses
An information pack containing all event information for delegates will be emailed before the Symposium.
During the event the crowd may be photographed, if you would prefer your photo not to be taken, please contact one of the Spectrum Space Staff & Volunteers on the day.
Recording of presentations are not permitted due to privacy reasons.
Yes, food and beverage will be available. We are in the process of finalising the menu for both days and we will update this space when ready. If you have specific dietary needs, you will be able to select an option when you purchase your ticket.

Nope! We welcome anyone and everyone to attend.
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else if needed.
We’re excited that you’re interested in joining us! However, this Symposium is open to individuals who are 18 years old and above.
A bursary is a monetary award made by a funding authority to individuals. Formally, this was known as a Subsidy. The same rules apply.
Yes, if you are autistic or a carer/family member of an autistic individual, you may qualify for a bursary. We are waiting to hear back regarding funding for this so watch this space! If your application is approved, you will need to pay a reduced fee of $50 for your ticket.

Accessibility and Accommodations
We have made every effort to create a sensory-friendly environment. If you need a break, a quiet room will be available.
Some materials will be accessible after the event. More information on this will be announced in due course.
Yes, you’re welcome to enter and exit as needed. Please keep your ticket with you and enter the space respectfully if a presentation is in progress.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer an online option or recording this time.
Parking and Transportation
Parking is available at Pan Pacific but are subject to availability at the time of entry and therefore non-guaranteed. Entry access is via Hill Street. There are other parking options around Pan Pacific.
Valet parking: $65.00
Delegates will get a 40% discount on self parking.

- 2 hours – $20
- 3 hours – $30
- 4-24 hours – $40
Perth Train Station is the nearest option. Catch the red cat, a free bus service that leaves every 6 minutes. Get on the RED CAT at Wellington Street Perth Station Eastbound and get off at Goderich St, Mercedes College, and walk 5 minutes (450m) to the Pan Pacific Hotel.
Alternatively, Pan Pacific Hotel is a 20-minute walk from Perth Train Station.
